We appreciate their visit whether they decide to acquire our products or not. As one of the most successful companies in the Mexican tourism field, we clearly communicate the terms and conditions associated with accepting an invitation to our sales presentation. However, It is disappointing to learn that we were not able to meet all of your expectations during your stay. They work tirelessly - day and night, to make our guests’ visits the most enjoyable experience ever. Also, we are delighted to find out that you enjoyed our rooms, the beach, and our staff service. We are very pleased to learn you have been faithful owners of our brands and you continue to enjoy our tropical paradise. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the resort, but would have liked easier access to town.ĭear dlarockn, Thank you for providing your comments about your experience in our resort. If that is worth a morning of your time, go for it and get access to the whole resort. Unless you go to the sales talk! These are pretty high pressure sales folks, and they will keep you for hours if you let them. Cons: You gotta know that Mayan Palace is at the lower end of Vidanta properties, so you will not have access to all of the amenities you can see at the resort. The town itself was a typical sleepy mexican town, with some excellent restaurants and fun little shopping bazaars. It was $50 round trip to get from Mayan Palace to town by taxi. Puerto Penasco was more than 20 miles away. It's not that it was bad, there just wasn't much variety and it tended to be a bit pricey The location. More cooking pans and utensils would have been helpful. The kitchen was small, but served us fine. The room was well furnished, albeit the furniture was a bit old and worn. Pros: Gorgeous beach! With up to 26 foot tides, there are lots of chances for swimming, shell collecting, and bird watching. They are still doing a lot of work to put additions in place, like new rooms and new restaurants. At the outset, I'll say this resort is not a top-of-the-line Vidanta resort (yet). I have been an owner in Vidanta properties for several years, but this was my first visit to Puerto Penasco.
